So I've been pretty quiet here, that's not that I'm not drawing, but I don't have access to my scanner. I'm currently traveling a bit, and living in NYC for a while. I though posting this time-lapse of my view till I get some new scanned would be a fun filler =)

Fox Roosting...
This is another sketch from one of my recent trips to NYC, and I think is where I first started playing with the idea of the Fox and Doe concept.

Finding the Sky in NYC
This is another sketch I did while in NYC. One of the things I've definitely come to take for granted in PDX, is that at night, you can see a lot of the sky. So much so, that I think the light noise is super awful here. Compare that with what you can't see in NYC... and we've got it good.
This was probably also drawn at Whiskey Town, it's sort of become my go to drink and draw spot when in the city.
This is another one I'm debating about cleaning up and coloring in, though part of me likes it in this form.

Whiskey Rat at Whiskey Town , NYC
This is a sketch I made at a bar called Whiskey Town in NYC. I actually did a few more drawings there, and have met some really interesting and nice folks during my stints in the area this past spring/summer. If you're looking for a friendly dive, with some spicy pickle backs and a small, but decent, whiskey selection to sip while visiting NYC, I'd highly recommend it.

Off to NYC
Been pretty weak on post between being sick, entertaining guest, finishing taxes, eating to much easter dinner and playing with a new wacom tablet ( more on that later) I haven't put much time into scanning and posting. But that's not gonna change much as I'm heading back to NYC for about a week. It's been about 7 years since I lived there and just around 3 or so since my last ( very short) visit. Hopefully something looks/feels familiar... see you all in a week or so, and for those in NYC we'll be seeing you soon!
