When I used to use Prismacolor markers back in the day, the way we used the blender was to "kiss" the colored marker tip to the blender's tip. You do it for a few seconds then color with the blender on top of your illustration. I haven't heard of your brand of marker but maybe they are similar to Prismacolor?
