SFO City Nights sketch - The City Lights

One of the perks of my job is that I get to travel to NYC and SFO a good bit. This drawing is a composite of two views I took in whilst hanging out with a friend of mine, from his roof on Upper Haight, and then a friend of his, from her roof in the Twin Peaks hills on . I seriously doubt it matches any actual view of the city, actually a quick google search pretty much proves that statement, but for me, that's not the point. Rather I just wanted to capture how I felt, and how similarly I felt, staring at that city on those nights.

I actually didn't finish this up until a recent drink and draw back here in Portland.

Back from Vaca

I tried to get this up last week at the start of my travels but was unable to get the time to sit down and post. Back, with batteries recharged from my San Francisco trip, I'll once again resume regular posting.
